PURIFYING MASK
Who is the clay it cool™ purifying clay mask for?
For anyone whose skin needs an express reset, whether you have a combination, oily, or enlarged-pore skin type. In just 5 minutes, the mask absorbs excess sebum, unclogs pores, and visibly helps even out the skin thanks to kaolin clay. Perfect before a night out, after a rough week, or whenever your skin is asking for a break.
Does the clay mask dry out skin?
No, that was exactly what we wanted to avoid. Kaolin is one of the gentlest clays on the market, as it purifies and controls the shine without stripping the skin. Meanwhile, squalane helps preserve the hydrolipidic film for a soft, comfortable and finish.
What is kaolin and is the mask suitable for delicate skin?
Kaolin is a naturally derived white clay and one of the gentlest on the market. Unlike more aggressive clays, it purifies and absorbs excess sebum without causing irritation or dryness, making it suitable even for delicate skin. This mask pairs it with squalane to restore the lipid barrier and marine mud extract to protect against external stressors. The result? A mask that deeply cleanses without leaving skin red or uncomfortable.
How often should you use this purifying mask?
1 to 2 times per week depending on your skin's needs. For combination to oily skin, twice a week is enough to keep both pores clear and skin balanced. For a more sensitive skin, once a week is plenty. Best used after cleansing and before the rest of your routine, and followed with a serum and a moisturizer to lock in the benefits.
How long should you leave the clay mask on?
5 minutes, no more. That's the sweet spot for kaolin to do its job without over-drying the skin. Once the mask has set, rinse with lukewarm water using gentle circular motions. Pro tip: don't let it dry completely to the point your skin feels tight, as the goal is to purify, not to end up dehydrated.
